Who am I?
I'm a 2-year-old Graduate. I've Just left university after three years and I have graduated with a 2:1 BSC in Television and Broadcasting. I grew up in the outdoors, being a part of the scouting organisation from a young age which taught me many different things about working as a team.
School didn't suit me sitting in a classroom day in and day out reading textbooks didn't suit me. Since I left senior school I have primally looked for physical work-based media courses where I could show my work rather than paper-based work. Since then I have thrived being able to learn with hands on experiance.
I'm experienced in Directing, Sony, Cannon, hot head Camera Operation, Jib Operation, Tricaster, birddog and Dante (lv1) use, effective Problem Solver,
Why the media Industry
I've been interested in the media industry for as long as I can remember, starting off making short stop-motion videos and progressing to making short films. As I started to look around universities I started to realise I wanted to try something new and as I looked around universities I found TV was something worth going into since then I've been interested in the technical side of the industry.
What Have I been apart of
Over the years I've taken part in a wide range of various different clubs, activities, and while at university societies.
During my third year at university, I was given the opportunity to become the president of the student radio society PureFM. During my tenure as president, I modernised the society by updating all of the policies and how it all works. I've also future-proofed the station by making sure that all of the documents stay relevant. Along side this I've been in contact with broadcast engineers at Sky to discuss the possibility of equipment donation
